Some security tips as we use Zoom more often now, to avoid Zoom-bombing (pranks to hijack meetings):
Host
- Add a password to all meetings
- Add a password to all meetings
- Disable participant screen sharing
ALL
- Keep Zoom app updated, so any patch for vulnerabilities discovered are acquired
- Do not post pictures of the Zoom meeting with the Meeting ID at the top (crop it off the picture, if necessary)
- Be aware of Zoom-looking malware (Since many are using the app, fraud apps that look like Zoom are increasing)
- Always be skeptical before clicking any links (including image links or emails)
