Ministry Report (2015-2016)

A Year of Divine Favour & Restoration

This year CLSF Mississauga has truly been experiencing the reality of our church’s global theme of God’s divine favour & restoration. We have seen God’s favour move in our church by allowing our new facility not only to be a place of worship but also a place of training and equipping of new workers. We’ve conducted our first Discipleship Training (Module 1: Who is God) attended by 30 members and are now on our way to completing Module 2: Encounter with God by the end of the year. We have also seen incredible favour in our community through members acquiring new and better jobs, new friends and family coming from the Philippines who are now joining our worship services and bible studies, we have had the privilege of baptizing new believers during our annual camp and we now have a new “teens ministry” that is focused on students who we are training to be the next generation of leaders. As a church we have also been able to reach out to our community by partnering with other churches & organizations for outreach projects such as Bible distributions, Muslim outreach & Operation Christmas child. These opportunities wouldn’t have been possible without the Lord opening doors of opportunities for us to be His hands & feet.

Throughout the whole year God’s Spirit was evident through moves of restoration within our church. Restoration of relationships within families, the leadership, and ministries far exceeded anyone’s expectations. Although there were a lot of hurts, mistakes and setbacks that hindered us moving forward, we believe that a few step backwards to first restore what is important, which is relationships, is crucial for us to move forward even further - together.

We have seen God move within the church, now  we are moving ahead excited and full of hope to see what God can do through us.
